ADS prides itself on designing and manufacturing exactly what you the customer require, not what we want to sell. We manufacture special multi-spindle drill heads to any possible configuration and to fit any machine.
Drilling heads previously manufactured have covered a multitude of products. A two spindle drilling head fitted to an electrical hand drill for a small bedroom furniture manufacturer to an 84 spindle drill head to manufacture tea trays.
All design and detailed drawings of ADS drill heads are generated in house, using our own Computer Aided Design [CAD].
The CAD system holds many advantages over traditional methods including improvements in speed and flexibility of design. These improvements lead to a shorter turn around of quotes, drawings and ultimately finished products.
For the design of drilling heads we have the ability to work from a number of different types of customer information, either drill head drawings, component drawings, component parts or even just ideas. We always supply drawings for your approval to confirm your requirements, prior to manufacture.

Applied Drilling Systems (ADS) was formed in June 1990 as a precision engineering company, specialising in the manufacture of multispindle drilling heads, to service the woodworking industry.
The company came into existence when AIM Ltd decided to concentrate on the production of aircraft and racing car parts. The same plant, equipment, skilled and technical staff were moved into new premises and Applied Drilling Systems was born.
